How we Spent our Christmas

Posted by

This past December, 3DMilitaryWear had the great privilege to join the Houston International Trade Center to help celebrate Christmas with the Veterans in our local community including the American Legion Post 596, Houston’s only American Legion Post that is comprised entirely of Asian-Americans.

There we were treated to dinner and got to talk one on one with many of the Vets in attendance about their individual stories. The experience was great and it was really amazing to hear many of their stories, it was a humbling experience to say the least. All of these men and women had such love for this Country in their hearts, and such pride in their service and it was truly an honor to celebrate with them.

After a moving video presentation honoring the memory of Pearl Harbor and remembering those who lost their lives that day, we got to pass out gifts to each Veteran as small way of showing our appreciation and debt to all the gathered service people. In addition to the presents we were excited to give away our Lanyards(Army/Marines/Navy/Air Force), Medal Hats, and Other items to the gathered Vets.

Thank you again to the International Trade Center, Mr. Wea H. Lee, everyone else we spoke to at the event, and most importantly, thank you to the Veterans!
